At the Neuadd Fawr Arms we offer visitors and locals alike a great choice of food and drink including Welsh Ales & Ciders, fine Wines and a good selection of Gins.
The Neuadd is a family run business, giving a warm welcoming service to all who visit.
We are situated in the old Welsh village of Cilycwm a few miles North of the market town of Llandovery in the beuatiful upper Towy Valley.
Neuadd Fawr meaning Great Hall. It was formally known as the Black Lion and owned and run by Jane Thomas who sold it to W. Cambell Davys of Neuadd Fawr in 1855.
Cambell Davys, then rebuilt the inn and it was later renamed Neuadd Fawr Arms.
The Neuadd is excellent place to dine whether you want to sit in the bar area, relax in the restaurant, or enjoy in the garden ( weather permitting)
95% of our food is cooked from scratch in our kitchen using locally sourced ingredients where possible including our own farm raised Welsh lamb, free range eggs from Gwenfaes Farm and meat supplied by a royal warrant awarded butchers ( Mathhews Butchers of Llandovery) We offer a bar and restaurant menu, including a good choice of vegetarian,vegan, gluten free options, light lunches and a specials board. We also do a traditional Sunday Lunch every week.
New for Spring & summer 2018 we will be serving Afternoon Teas, High Teas and Gentlemans Teas.
We will require 48 hours notice for this so that we can prepare our delicious selection of Cakes, Scones and savoury delights.
